Re: Neutron Generator Mr. Lee, We have reviewed the information that you have sent me in your e-mails.
Based on the information, we determined that the device must be registered. You can register the device in either of the Agreement States where your company has locations (i.e. Louisiana or Texas) in with the NRC if you wish to register it from another location in a nowagreement State. The guidance for the application process is available in the NRC technical report No. NUREG-1556, Vol. 3, which you can access at the NRC web site: nrc.qov (under the Electronic Reading Room link).
We have also found a number of similar devices that are already registered, for example:
