The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Office of Investigations (OI) completed an investigation regarding individuals being trained for Senior Reactor Operator certification that were receiving examination questions and answers to study before taking the final examination.

The Office of Investigations, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Region II, initiated this investigation on April 4, 2003, to determine if the V. C. Summer Initial Operator test material had been deliberately compromised. This investigation was closed as unsubstantiated. We plan no further action with regard to this matter. Should you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact us.
