MB 5819)
By letter dated August 8, 2002, Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC) requested approval for the implementation of leak before break technology for the Palisades Plant.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has communicated to NMC that current NRC policy requires that such a request be submitted in the form of a license amendment request. Therefore, NMC is withdrawing the request made on August 8, 2002, and will evaluate reformatting the request for a potential future resubmittal.
