1 F38 Reactor Scram due to loss of RFP suction pressure.

SUMIx ARY IUnit 1 began the month of April 2003 at 100% of rated thermal power (RTP).

On April 23'" at 02:07 hours, the reactor was automatically scrammed at 100% RTP due to loss of Reactor Feed -

Pump (RFP) suction pressure. At 02:09 hours, the turbine was tripped.

On April 25"' at 16:03 hours, reactor criticality was achieved.

On April 26"' at 16:13 hours, the main generator was synchronized to the grid at 19% RTP. At 20:11 hours, the main generator was tripped at 21 % RTP. At 22:00 hours, the main generator was resynchronized to the grid at 21 % RTP.

On April 27" at 18:36 hours, reactor power was restored to 100% RTP.

On April 28' at 01:55 hours, reactor power was reduced from 100% to 95% RTP for rod pattern adjustment. At 05:30 hours, reactor power was restored to 100% RTP.

Nfo-ne During April 2003 Unit 2 began the month of April 2003 at 100% of rated thermal power (RTP).

On April 5'" at 22:01 hours, reactor power was reduced from 100% to 87% RTP for control rod exercise test.

On April 6' at 01:00 hours, reactor power was restored to 100% RTP.

On April 9"' at 10:26 hours, reactor power was reduced from 100% to 57% RTP for power suppression testing.

On April 13"' at 21:08 hours, reactor power was restored to 100% RTP.

On April 14"' at 02:24 hours, reactor power was reduced from 99% to 90% RTP for rod pattern adjustment. At 19:24 hours, reactor power was restored to 100% RTP.

On April 15'm at 22:01 hours, reactor power was reduced from 99% to 89% RTP for rod pattern adjustment.

On April 16"' at 07:37 hours, reactor power was restored to 100% RTP.

Unit 2 ended the month of April 2003 at 100% RTP.
