SUMMARY
OF THE APRIL 1, 2003, MEETING WITH EXELON GENERATION CO. TO DISCUSS QUAD CITIES PERFORMANCE On April 1, 2003, a public meeting was held at the Best Western Steeplegate Inn, Davenport, Iowa, between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Exelon Generation Company staff. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss NRCs assessment of performance at the Quad Cities Station for the period of January 1, 2002, through December 31, 2002.
During the NRC presentation, an overall assessment of Quad Cities performance was provided. As explained in the Annual Assessment letter from NRC to Mr. John Skolds, President Exelon Nuclear, dated March 4, 2003, reference ADAMS accession number ML030640482, Quad Cities operated in a manner that preserved public health and safety and fully met all cornerstone objectives. The slides presented that evening by the NRC are available in ADAMS (accession number ML030930090).
Before adjourning the meeting the NRC provided the opportunity for members of the public to ask questions.
