SUMMARY
OF THE APRIL 3, 2003, MEETING WITH EXELON GENERATION COMPANY, LLC TO DISCUSS LASALLE PERFORMANCE On April 3, 2003, a public meeting was held at the Brookfield Township Hall, Seneca, Illinois, between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Exelon Nuclear Company staff. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss NRCs assessment of LaSalles performance for the period of January 1, 2002, through December 31, 2002.
During the NRC presentation, an overall assessment of LaSalle performance was provided. As explained in the Annual Assessment letter from NRC to Mr. J. Skolds, President, Exelon Nuclear, dated March 4, 2003, reference ADAMS accession number ML030710572, LaSalle operated in a manner that preserved public health and safety and fully met all cornerstone objectives. The slides presented that evening by the NRC are available in ADAMS (accession number ML030920527).
Before adjourning the meeting the NRC provided the opportunity for members of the public to ask questions.
