APPENDIX G 2002 MISSED SAMPLE REPORT In accordance with the requirements REMP manual section 3.1, the following samples are being reported as not being collected for the reasons indicated during 2002. Corrective action as required by the REMP manual is as indicated.
Luxel (Direct radiation Pathway)
Location # 89 RTLO.4NP, Transmission Tower south of ISFSI (indicator) -- On October 4, 2002, the monitoring badges at this location were missing during the routine changeout.
Fourth Quarter 2002 monitoring badges were restored at this location. No data will be available for this location for the third quarter 2002.
Algae (Waterborne Pathway)
Routine sampling of algae on June 12, 2002 did not collect samples from RAG0.3MO and RAGO.6MO due to no samples being available due to excessive flow.
Air Sampler (Airborne Pathway)
RAS1.8FP, Rancho Seco Lake (control/ administrative) - On December 17, 2002, during the weekly change-out, the air filter sample head was found lying on the ground. The sample gooseneck and bracket were broken, apparently during a heavy wind and rainstorm that occurred on December 13, 2002. The stop time of December 13, 2002 at 2136 will be used based on weather information for storm arrival in the area. Sample results will be available for this location for this sample period. This is an administratively controlled control location.
RASO.7EO, Meteorological Station (control) - On December 17, 2002, during the weekly change-out, the air sampler enclosure was found tipped over. The air sampler was still running. The air sampler enclosure was blown over in a heavy wind and rainstorm that occurred on December 13, 2002. The air sampler enclosure was placed in the correct configuration and the air filter was changed out. Sample results will be available for this location for this sample period.
