VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY SURRY POWER STATION UNITS I AND 2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PROVIDED FOR THE ORDER FOR COMPENSATORY MEASURES RELATED TO ACCESS AUTHORIZATION DATED JANUARY 7, 2003 On January 7, 2003, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued an Order requiring compensatory measures (CMs) related to access authorization for all operating nuclear power reactor licensees.
Virginia Electric and Power Company (Dominion) submitted an answer to the Order on January 27, 2003 (Serial No.03-067).
Dominion's responses to CMs C.1.1, C.1.2, and C.1.3 required that Dominion provide the NRC with additional information. Attached is that information.
Additional information related to CMs C.1.4 and C.1.5 is also included in the attachment.
This additional information is provided in response to a telephone conversation on March 13, 2003 with Mr. Micheal Burrell, Mr. Bradley Baxter and Mr.
Christopher Gratton of the NRC.
Schedule changes for CMs B.1.2, B.1.3 c), B.1.4, B.1.5, and B.1.7, C.1.6, and C.1.10 are also included in the attachment.
The attachment to this letter contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10 CFR 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
