Re: Status of Risk Analysis
- Laura, The still incomplete items are
- 1. Size to which cavity needs to grow to fail at normal (or reasonable) RCS pressure and the associated risk that it could have done so.
- 2. The probabilities that circ flaws could have developed and caused nozzle ejection Work continues on both The second one seems pretty much on-track for completion very soon. The first is proving more difficult The licensee has declined to complete their analysis, and ORNURES is going off in a direction that will make it more difficult for me to use the results (but I'll manage). RES is now talking about finishing "by the end of the week" which is a slight slip from their previous target of "the end of hte month" (July).
Still, I think we're getting real close to a preliminary result we can actually use.
