Dear Mr. Heacock:
It is our pleasure to confirm your acceptance of our invitation to you to participate as a panel member for the OSART special session (T-13) at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) 15th Annual Regulatory Information (RIC) sponsored by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation. The conference will be held April 16, 17, and 18, 2003 at the Capital Hilton Hotel, 16th and K Streets NW, Washington, D.C. The T-13 session is scheduled for April 17th at 5:45pm in the presidential ballroom. A copy of the announcement and invitation is included for your information.
The session is entitled International Experience, and the theme of the session is International Experience with Operational Safety Assessment Review Teams (OSARTs). As a panel member, we could ask you to comment on the North Anna plants experience with OSARTs, during a 8-10 minute presentation. Your presentation, and the presentations of other panel members will help stimulate questions and comments from the other session participants.
After all panel members have spoken, the expectation would be for panel members to respond to questions or comments on issues raised by the audience. If you intend to use any slides or other material please transmit to me as soon as possible so that it can be posted on the web site for the Conference.
