D.C. COOK NUCLEAR GENERATION GROUP END-OF-CYCLE AND REGULATORY PERFORMANCE MEETING

Dear Mr. Bakken:

This letter confirms the discussion between members of our staffs to have a meeting at 5:30 p.m. (EDT) on Thursday, April 10, 2003, at the Park Inn, 4290 Red Arrow Highway, Stevensville, MI 49127. The meeting is open to the public. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.

The purposes of this meeting are: 1) to discuss the D.C. Cook End-of-Cycle plant performance assessment as described in our letter dated March 4, 2002; and 2) to discuss the licensees corrective actions associated with plant performance being in the Degraded Cornerstone column of the NRCs action matrix.
