U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission ATTN: Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555-0001 PALISADES PLANT DOCKET 50-255 LICENSE DPR-20 QUALITY PROGRAM DESCRIPTION FOR PALISADES - UPDATE IN ACCORDANCE WITH 10 CFR 50.54(a)(3) 10 CFR 50.54(a)(3) requires that, "Changes to the quality assurance program description that do not reduce the commitments must be submitted to the NRC in accordance with the requirements of Sec. 50.71(e)." This letter provides Revision 21 of the "Quality Program Description for Nuclear Power Plants (Part 2) - Palisades Nuclear Power Plant (CPC-2A),"
(Enclosure 1). Also included is a matrix describing each change from Revision 20 to Revision 21, the reason for each change, and the basis for concluding that the changes do not reduce commitments, (Enclosure 2). As it has been concluded that none of the changes reduce previous commitments, the Quality Program, as revised, continues to meet 10 CFR 50, Appendix B requirements. The changes in Revision 21 are editorial in nature.
