SUBJECT:
CROSS-REFERENCE TABLE OF THE REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH THE REVIEW OF THE ST. LUCIE, UNITS 1 AND 2, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION During the staffs review of the St. Lucie, Units 1 and 2, license renewal application, the staff and the staffs contractors developed draft requests for additional information (RAIs). Some of the contractors draft RAIs were eliminated or sent to staff reviewers for their consideration.
The remaining draft RAIs were sent to the applicant.
The staff and the applicant discussed the draft RAIs. Some draft RAIs were not issued for various reasons, such as, the information requested was in the license renewal application, the information requested could be more efficiently gathered by the NRC inspection teams, or several draft RAIs were combined into a single RAI. The project manager prepared summary reports that documented the reason for not issuing these draft RAIs.
After the discussions with the applicant, the staff formally issued the RAIs. In some cases, a draft RAI was revised and issued under a different RAI number.
The attached Cross-Reference Table identifies how RAIs evolved and documents the disposition of each RAI. The first part of the table identifies why a draft RAI was not issued or identifies a summary report in ADAMS, which contains the explanation for why the RAI was not issued. The second part of the table identifies the RAIs that were issued and identifies the draft RAI from which it was derived.
