SUMMARY
REPORT, INTERVAL 3, PERIOD 3, REFUELING OUTAGE DATES: 11-15-2002 TO 12-6-2002 FUEL CYCLE 21: 2-25-2001 TO 12-6-2002 During the 2002 Prairie Island Unit 1 refueling outage, an inservice inspection (ISI) examination for the third period of the third interval was conducted. Attached for your information are four copies of the ISI examination summary report for this period.
The summary report is being submitted in accordance with the Prairie Island American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Code Section XI Inservice Inspection Program and is intended to satisfy the inspection reporting requirements contained in IWA-6220 of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
The report identifies components examined, the examination methods used, the examination number, and summarizes the results. All anomalies were either corrected or an engineering evaluation was performed to accept "as-is" conditions. A description of the corrective work and the corresponding work request numbers are provided in the ASME Section XI Repair/Replacement portion of the report.
This letter contains no new commitments and no revisions to existing commitments.
