50-318 LICENSEE'S ANSWER TO FEBRUARY 11, 2003 COMMISSION ORDER TO MODIFY LICENSE FOR REACTOR PRESSURE VESSEL HEADS AT PRESSURIZED WATER REACTORS On February 11, 2003, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission ("NRC" or "Commission") issued an immediately effective order in the captioned matter entitled Order Modifying Licenses (Effective Immediately) ("Order") to, inter alia, Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, Inc. ("Calvert Cliffs"). Calvert Cliffs responded to the Order in a letter dated February 18, 2003, in accordance with the provisions of 10 C.F.R. § 50.4, as directed by the Order.
In accordance with Section V of the Order and 10 C.F.R. § 2.202, Calvert Cliffs hereby submits its Answer to the Order. As requested in Section V of the Order, copies of this Answer are being transmitted by e-mail to the Secretary of the Commission and to the Assistant General Counsel for Materials Litigation.
Calvert Cliffs consents to the Order and specifically does not request a hearing.
