50-338 AND 50-339
Dear Mr. Christian:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Jim Crossman of your staff and Mr. Mike Morgan of the NRC staff on March 4, 2003, concerning an Annual Assessment Meeting (Category One public meeting) requested by us which is scheduled for March 20, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. (EST). The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of your North Anna Power Station. During the meeting, we recognize that you may have information which you want to present to us or any members of the public in attendance. Accordingly, if you so desire, after our presentation you will be afforded an opportunity to respond to any information contained in the Annual Assessment Letter and to discuss any new or existing programs that are designed to maintain or improve your current performance. The location of the meeting will be at the North Anna site, 1022 Haley Drive, Mineral, VA, in the main auditorium of the North Anna Nuclear Information Center.
The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC meeting, May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 1025, 36920-36924).
