This report covers the period from July 1, 2002 through December 31, 2002.

STPNOC Quality Assurance Department audited the FFD Program during this performance period. The audit found no program deficiency.

I Attachment NOC-AE-03001471 Page 1 of 2 STP NUCLEAR OPERATING COMPANY SEMI-ANNUAL FITNESS FOR DUTY PROGRAM PERFORMANCE REPORT July 1, 2002 through December 31, 2002 During the second performance period of 2002, the STPNOC FFD Program conducted a total of 2009 FFD screening tests that resulted in thirteen positive test results. Of the thirteen positive tests one individual tested positive for two substances which resulted in 14 total confirmations. The positives were comprised of short-term contractors, whose unescorted access was denied. Eleven of the positives were pre-access tests. STPNOC conducted 289 random tests resulting in a random testing rate of 30% of the average annual population with an annual random testing rate of 50%.

STPNOC did not have any 10CFR26.73 reportable events during the performance period.
