FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) FINAL EXERCISE REPORT FOR THE 2002, CALVERT CLIFFS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT PLUME EXPOSURE PATHWAY EXERCISE
Dear Mr. Katz:
Dr. Robert Bores, State Liaison Officer, NRC Region I, received an e-mail from Darrell Hammonds, Regions Assistance Committee Chairperson, FEMA Region III, which forwarded the subject report. The main portion of the exercise was conducted on September 9, 2002, and out-of-sequence portions were conducted on August 21-22 and September 11, 2002.
A copy of this report will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/ADAMS.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room). The package containing this report has been given the accession number of ML030370682. Please access this report for details concerning the exercises.
There was one Deficiency identified during the exercise which was remediated later in the exercise. There was one Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) and one Planning Issue identified as a result of this exercise. Please provide assistance to offsite officials as they address and resolve the identified items on a timely basis.
