THE REGULAR MINUTES OF THE PROPHETSTOWN CITY COUNCIL The Prophetstown City Council met at 7:30 P.M. on November 12, 2002 at City Hall with Aldermen B. Uhler, L. Dessing, M. Stegmiller, L. Brylski, D. Crandall and B. Siefken present.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

A motion made by L. Brylski and seconded by D. Crandall to approve the minutes of the

-October-meeting was approved unanimously.

A motion made by L. Dessing and seconded by B. Uhler to approve the Bill List for payment was approved unanimously.

A motion made by B. Siefken and seconded by L. Brylski to adopt a Resolution supporting the Exelon Nuclear's License Renewal Application for the additional 20 year operation of the Quad Cities Generating Station was approved unanimously.

DEPARTMENT REPORTS Police Department Chief Mike Fisk gave the council an update on the applications being reviewed for a new Police Officer.

Discussion was held on whether to sell the old squad car or keep it.

Public Works Department A motion made by B. Siefken and,*econded by L. Dessing to approve the Addendum to Sunset Acres was approved unanimously.

A motion made by B. Uhler and seconded by M. Stegmiller to approve the recommendation to rezone from A-1 to R-1 8.062 acres owned by Allen Wade was approved unanimously.

Larry Griffiths reported that the program for leave dumping was working well.

Building Permits Building permits were issued toDon Donegan, Al. Wade, Craig Leigh, Wesley Grau and Merle Strike.

Finance A motion made by B. Uhler and seconded by L. Brylski to give the City Employees the same Bonus as last year was approved unanimously.
