Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) submits herewith the Farley Nuclear Plant Unit 2, Interval 3, Period 1, Outage 1 Inservice Inspection Summary Report (Enclosure 1). This report describes and summarizes the inservice inspection activities performed during its Fall 2002 maintenance/refueling outage. Paragraph IWA-6230 of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section XI, 1989 Edition requires submittal of the enclosed report. Also included in the report are inspection results required by Farley Nuclear Plant Technical Specification 5.6. 10.b for submittal to the NRC within 12 months following completion of the steam generator tube examinations.
The supporting inservice inspection documentation, e.g., examination plans and schedules, examination results and reports, examination methods and procedures, evaluation results, and corrective action and repairs, is available for review upon request at Farley Nuclear Plant.
The signed original and one copy of the subject report are provided for your review.
