SUMMARY
OF MEETING WITH COOPER NUCLEAR STATION
Dear Mr. Warren:
This refers to the meeting conducted in Arlington, Texas, on December 18, 2002. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss Revision 2 of the Cooper Nuclear Station Strategic Improvement Plan. The attendance list is enclosed. Topics discussed included Nebraska Public Power Districts regulatory commitments associated with the improvement plan, NRC plans for the content of a confirmatory action letter, improvement plan performance indicators, the schedule for completion of improvement plan actions, and the incorporation of Revision 1 actions into Revision 2 of the improvement plan. During this meeting, members of your staff stated that the performance indicators associated with the improvement plan, and the documentation describing the transition from Revision 1 to Revision 2 of the improvement plan, would be completed and available for NRC review by January 31, 2003.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
