Dear Mr. Stall:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Steve Hale of your staff and Mr. Caudle Julian of this office on January 8, 2003, concerning a Inspection exit meeting (Category One public meeting) which has been scheduled for January 31, 2003, beginning at 9:00 a.m. (EDT). The purpose of the meeting is for the NRC to present the results of the NRCs second inspection of the FPL St. Lucie license renewal program to be conducted January 13-31, 2003. The location of the meeting will be at your Energy Encounter facility at the St. Lucie site. The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC meeting, May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 1025, 36920-36924).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
