REPORT ON THE STATUS OF OPEN TIAs ASSIGNED TO NRR The attached graph and tables give the status of open TIAs assigned to NRR as of December 31, 2002.
Since the last status report, one draft TIA was sent to a region, two draft TIAs were returned from a region, two TIAs were completed and no TIAs were opened. Of the five open TIAs, the following divisions are the current action holder: DE - 1 and DLPM - 4.
There are no TIA draft responses that are presently late that affect TIA goals.
There are no TIA draft responses due within the next two months (up to 02/28/03) that affect TIA goals.
TIAs 2001-13 for Dresden and 2001-15 for DC Cook final responses have slipped from their targeted issuance dates. TIA 2001-13 is with the PM for final response and 2001-15 is with the Section Chief for concurrence. Also the final response for TIA 2002-04 on Hatch is due 1/31/03 and the final response for TIA 2001-10 on Prairie Island is due 3/01/03.
The TIA Office Instruction (COM-106, Rev. 1) was revised on December 24, 2002, to improve the timeliness for meeting the NRR goal by increasing management oversight.
