REQUEST FOR HEARING OF THE CONNECTICUT COALITION AGAINST MILLSTONE AND THE STAR FOUNDATION Attached is an amended petition for leave to intervene submitted on December 12, 2002, by the Connecticut Coalition Against Millstone and the STAR Foundation. The petition was submitted in response to the issuance by the NRC staff of a proposed No Significant Hazards Consideration notice with respect to a license amendment request of Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc. for the Millstone Power Station, Unit No. 2 (Docket No. 50-336). The amendment would change certain Technical Specifications related to Containment and the Spent Fuel Pool area. The notice was published in the Federal Register at 67 Fed. Reg. 68731(November 12, 2002).
The request for hearing and a letter from petitioners counsel dated December 13, 2002, are being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R.
§ 2.772(j).
