Dear Mr. O Hare:
On June 6, 2002, you sent a letter to the Chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in which you raised concerns about the security of the Indian Point Energy Center. By letter dated July 18, 2002, I sent you a copy of the NRC staffs proposed decision to similar concerns raised in a petition by Riverkeeper, Inc. Since then, the NRC has received comments from Riverkeeper, Inc. on the proposed decision, evaluated the comments, and issued its final decision on November 18, 2002. I am enclosing a copy of that final decision for your information.
