DATE TYPE DURATION REASON' METHOD OF CAUSE/CORRECTIVE ACTIONS F: FORCED (HOURS) SHUTTING S: SCHEDULED DOWN 2 COMMENTS02-005 02/11/09 5 182.4 H 1 On 11/08/02 at 2140 a reduction in power was commenced in preparation for a scheduled shutdown to repair a Pressurizer Safety Valve (RV-200 seat leakage) and replace the 1IB Reactor Coolant Pump (RCP) seal.

The outage commenced on 11/09/02 at 0108. The Pressurizer Safety Valve and 1IB RCP seal were both replaced and tested. The outage ended on 11/16/02 at 1402.

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE November 2002 The unit began the month at 100% power.

On 11/08/02 at 2140 power was reduced in preparation for a scheduled outage to repair the Pressurizer Safety Valve (RV-200) due to seat leakage and 11 B Reactor Coolant Pump (RCP) mechanical seal. The unit was removed from the grid on 11/09/02 at 0108. The unit was cooled down and entered Mode 5 at 1630. The Pressurizer Safety Valve and 1 B RCP mechanical seal were replaced.

The unit was heated up and taken critical on 11/16/02 at 0649. The unit was paralleled to the grid at 1402.

The unit reached 100% power on 11/17/02 at 0120 and continued to operate at 100% power for the remainder of the month.

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE November 2002 The unit began the month at 100% reactor power.

Power was reduced to 90% on 11/02/02 at 0103 to perform Main Turbine Valve Testing. Following completion of the testing, power was returned to 100% at 0530.

The unit operated at 100% power for the remainder of the month.
