Unit 2 Cycle 9A Core Operating Limits Report (COLR)
Exelon Generation Company (EGC), LLC, in accordance with LaSalle County Station Technical Specifications (TS) Section 5.6.5, "Core Operating Limits Report,"
is submitting a revision to the Core Operating Limits Report (COLR). The revision is due to the implementation of new minimum critical power ratio (MCPR) operating limits and limiting heat generation rate (LHGR) limit penalties for control blade history effects on fuel which was suppressed during LaSalle County Station Unit 2 Cycle 9 operations. The penalties are applied to specific core locations to ensure that control blade history effects on Cycle 9 fresh fuel assemblies, which resided in previously suppressed control cells during Unit 2 Cycle 9 operations are properly accounted for in the calculation of maximum nodal LHGR and MCPR.
Additionally, associated administrative changes have also been incorporated.
