Dear Mr. Travers,
My husband, Mushaf Raza Mirza, was diagnosed with cancer in December 1993. He died on April 29, 1995. My husband joined Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation, where he was assigned as Principal Radwaste Engineer in the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station owned by Boston Edison, which is now Nstar. I have contacted the Human Resources at Nstar and Stone & Webster, and requested his nuclear exposure records. They have told me that they no longer have any records related to his employment, including the nuclear exposure records. I find it unlikely given the fact that this disease occurs decades later that there is no requirement to maintain these records indefinitely. I ask that enforcement action be taken against Stone
& Webster, Nstar, Boston Edison, and Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station for their failure to maintain these records. Consider this request for action pursuant to Section 2.206 of the NRC Commission's Regulation.
