OF MEETING WITH COOPER NUCLEAR STATION

Dear Mr. Wilson:

This refers to the meeting conducted in Arlington, Texas, on November 18, 2002. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the development and submission of Revision 2 of the Cooper Nuclear Station Strategic Improvement Plan. The attendance list is enclosed. Topics discussed included the development status of Nebraska Public Power District's Strategic Improvement Plan (TIP) Revision 2, the types of commitments that NPPD plans to make with the submission of TIP Revision 2, and the types of commitments that the NRC will include in a confirmatory action letter.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
