As indicated in the 09/12/02 letter (RE: License Renewal of the Kansas State University Nuclear Reactor Facility (License R-88, Docket 50-188), a major revision to the K-State Reactor Facility Emergency Plan had been approved by the Reactor Safeguards Committee, and (at time of transmittal of the license renewal request) was under review by agencies providing support to the facility.
Reviews are now complete, and agreement with the revised Emergency Plan is documented in letters of agreement with supporting agencies. Therefore, as previously committed, this letter accompanies transmittal of the K-State Reactor Facility Emergency Plan.
