GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY SELF-GUARANTEE OF FUNDS FOR DECOMMISSIONING

Dear Mr. Alagno:

Our review of your submittals dated March 4 and August 15, 2002, has determined that you have adequately provided financial assurance for the following NRC licenses: DPR-1, R33, TR-1, DR-10, SNM-960 and SNM-2500. Per our phone conversation, it is agreed that you commit to comply with the notification requirements as specified in 10 CFR Parts 50, 70, 72, and Appendix A to 10 CFR Part 30.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
