SUBJECT:
MILLSTONE POWER STATION, UNIT NO. 3, CLOSEOUT OF TAC ASSOCIATED WITH STEAM GENERATOR TUBE PLUGGING REPORT (TAC NO. MA6540)
In a letter dated October 7, 2002, Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc. (DNC) supplied a special steam generator (SG) tube plugging report pursuant to the requirements of MP3 Technical Specifications 4.4.5.5.a and 6.9.2.
A TAC was opened in accordance with the memo from R.S. Barrett/J. Zwolinski to B. Sheron dated September 30, 2002, which stated that project managers should open a TAC for any SG reports (e.g., special reports) received in support of the staffs outage related steam generator efforts.
Subsequent to providing the TAC number and a copy of the DNC special report to the appropriate technical branch (C. Khan), I was informed by C. Khan that the technical staff would not be reviewing the DNC special report (This was confirmed by the Section Chief, A. L. Lund.). Therefore, based on this information, TAC No. MB6540 is being closed.
