In accordance with the requirements of Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Technical Specification 5.6.10, Southern Nuclear Operating Company submits this report of the number of steam generator (SG) tubes plugged during the Unit 2 ninth maintenance/ refueling outage (2R9).
As a result of SG No. I and SG No. 4 inservice inspections completed on October 20, 2002, a total of two (2) tubes were plugged in SG No. 4., One tube exceeded the criteria for tube wall thinning and the other was administratively plugged as a precautionary measure. No tubes were plugged in SGNo. 1.
