VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNIT 2 STEAM GENERATOR TUBE PLUGGING REPORT Scheduled eddy current inspections of the North Anna Unit 2 "A" steam generator were completed during the Fall 2002 Refueling Outage.

In accordance with North Anna Power Station Technical Specifications, Reporting Requirement 5.6.7.a, this letter provides notification of a steam generator tube that was plugged during the outage (Row 9, Column 45). During the Plus Point rotating coil hot leg top of the tube-sheet inspection, a permeability signal was observed. This signal was not visible during the bobbin coil inspection because the bobbin probe is magnetically biased and the rotating probe is not. It was determined to plug the tube since the permeability signal preclddked uindfnbig i0nalysisýhf the-rotating coil -dta7E No new commitments are intended by this letter.
