RobertyPulsifer - Mulligan.wpd Page 1 The subject e-mail sent to Mr Dricks on 9/18/02 addresses amendment 209 for the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station. As stated in our letter dated August 23, 2002 to you; "We will continue to review your e-mail messages for issues that are within NRC jurisdiction and that warrant additional action on our part, in accordance with our processes and procedures." The e-mail dated 9/13/02 does not meet these requirements since you have not provided any new information that warrants action on our part. As stated in our letter dated February 13, 2002 we would consider your comments in our development of a safety evaluation. This safety evaluation was provided on August 14, 2002.
