KEWAUNEE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT - CORRECTION TO ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT 163 (TAC NO. MB5185)
Dear Mr. Coutu:
On September 24, 2002, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued Amendment No. 163 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-43 for the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant. The amendment approved revisions to Technical Specification (TS) requirements for meeting surveillances in TS 4.0.a, TS requirements for missed surveillances in TS 4.0.c, and TS requirements for a Bases control program consistent with the TS Bases Control Program described in Section 5.5 of NUREG-1431, Standard TSs for Westinghouse Plants, Revision 2.
Due to an administrative error, TS pages TS iv, TS 4.0-1, TS B4.0-1, TS B4.0-2, and TS B4.0-3 do not have an Amendment number in the lower right hand corner of the page, and TS page TS 6.21-1 has the incorrect Amendment number. Amendment Number 163 should appear in the lower right hand corner on each of the following pages: TS iv, TS 4.0-1, TS B4.0-1, TS B4.0-2, TS B4.0-3, and TS 6.21-1. In addition, due to an administrative error, TS page TS iv had the following sections inadvertently omitted: 6.0, Administrative Controls, 6.1, Responsibility, 6.2, Organization, 6.2.a, Off-Site Staff, 6.2.b, Facility Staff, and 6.2.c, Organizational Changes. TS page TS iv should have the following sections: 6.0, Administrative Controls, 6.1, Responsibility, 6.2, Organization, 6.2.a, Off-Site Staff, 6.2.b, Facility Staff, and 6.2.c, Organizational Changes. Enclosed are the corrected pages.
