WHEN I TELL YOU TO BEGIN, YOU ARE TO PERFORM THE ACTIONS AS DIRECTED IN THE J

INITIATING CUES.

I WILL DESCRIBE GENERAL CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THIS TASK IS TO BE PERFORMED AND PROVIDE THE NECESSARY TOOLS WITH WHICH TO PERFORM THIS jf TASK.

BEFORE STARTING, I WILL EXPLAIN THE INITIAL CONDITIONS, WHICH STEPS If TO SIMULATE OR DISCUSS, AND PROVIDE INITIATING CUES.

am WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE TASK SUCCESSFULLY, THE OBJECTIVE FOR THIS JOB PERFORMANCE MEASURE WILL BE SATISFIED.

INITIAL CONDITIONS:

1. A Steam Generator Tube Rupture is in progress.

S/G "C" has been isolated per EOP-4.0.

An operator initiated cooldown has been performed according to EOP-4.0, through step 21.

TASK STANDARDS:

1.

RCS pressure is reduced to less than ruptured S/G pressure with PZR level > 181 or PZR level > 68%

or RCS subcooling < 30 0 F.

INITIATING CUES:

1.

Control Room Supervisor directs operator to depressurize the

RCS, commencing with EOP-4.0, Step 22.

TERMINATING CUES:

1. RCS depressurization stabilized by securing all flow from the PZR PORVs.

SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS:

board indications and his place in the procedure.

STEP STANDARD

1.

Depressurize the RCS using Determines all RCPs are secured and PZR normal spray valves PCV-444C spray is not available and 444D.

STE__

STANDARD 2

Verifies at l Notes all three PZR PORVs are available is available.

INOTE 3:

Examiner prompts student to depressurize using PCV-444B.

STEP P3s L' S-3.

Opens one PZR POVni any termination criteria is met, RCS pressure <C' (ruptured)

SIG pressure and PZR level >

18%;

or PZR level >68-or RCS subcooling <30 0 F STANDARD PCV-444B indicates red light ON, green light OFF.

Recognizes from MCB indication that RCS pressure is less than 'C' S/G pressure with PZR level

>18% or PZR level >68%.

COMMENTS.:X INOTE 4:

If RCS pres continues t I

failure.

3d S/G pressure first and student M8% PZR level, this would constitute STEP S 4.

Closes PCV-444B STANDARD Takes PCV-444B to the CLOSE position.

Notes PCV-444B indicates red light ON, green light OFF, RCS pressure decreasing.
