DOMINIONS DRAFT REPORT ON SURRY POWER STATIONS (SPS)
REACTOR VESSEL NEUTRON EMBRITTLEMENT EVALUATION On September 18, 2002, Mike Henig of Dominion Virginia Electric and Power Company (Dominion) transmitted an electronic mail (e-mail) to Omid Tabatabai and provided a draft reports on SPS Reactor Vessel Neutron Embrittlement. Specifically, in its report, Dominion provided data on reactor vessel beltline neutron fluence, pressurized thermal shock, Charpy upper shelf energy, and limits for heatup and cooldown in support of its license renewal applications for North Anna and Surry. Dominions e-mail (w/attachments) is attached.

- Omid, Attached below is a revised write-up for the Surry Reactor Vessel Embrittlement Evaluation. The write-up has been updated to include the requested information made by the Staff during our telecom last week and the new information has been noted by vertical lines in the margin for your ease of review.
We will discuss this new information during the scheduled conference call on Thursday, 09/19/02 at 0900.
