Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No. 1 Docket No. 50-440, License No. NPF-58 Completion of Security Compensatory Measures Ladies and Gentlemen:
On March 18, 2002, the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) submitted a response (PY-CEI/NRR-2622L) for the Perry Nuclear Power Plant (PNPP) to the NRC Order for Interim Safeguards and Security Compensatory Measures issued on February 25, 2002. A supplemental response to address PNPP actions taken in response to the order was provided on June 6, 2002 (PY-CEI/NRR-2644L).
This letter provides notification that actions taken by PNPP to comply with the Interim Compensatory Measures, as described in the PNPP submittals identified above, were completed by August 31, 2002, as required by the Order.
