Anomaly / Technical Specifications Violation Gentlemen On August 20, 2002, it was discovered that a portion of the reactor biennial requalification program was not completed by August 13, 2002, as required.
The UCD/MNRC Technical Specifications Section 6.1.4 requires that the requalification program be' iccomplished over a period not to exceed two years.
The time period for this requalification cycle was not to exceed August 13, 2002. The cause of this anomaly was due to the fact that all 10 CFR Part 55 categories had been completed, but the UCD/MNRC requalification program has an additional category titled "Regulations and Administrative Controls." This additional category was overlooked.
On September 5, 2002, all certified personnel will take an examination in this category, thereby completing the biennial requalification requirements. The corrective actions shall be to list each training category on the computerized preventative maintenance system, thereby ensuring that this specific category is addressed by the training coordinator.
