CRDM INSPECTIONS AT D.C. COOK
- Stacey, This e-mail is meant for the Stacey Rosenberg in the EDO's office. Please let me know if you're not the one I'm attempting to contact.
As of this morning, D.C. Cook is halfway through their inspections and they have not identified any indications visually. They are also performing eddy current. They've identified 7 anomolies using eddy current, which as I understand is typical (nothing they would call flaws at this point). Allen Hiser was out there observing the inspections and was satisified with their techniques.
The DC Cook PM just told me that the licensee is considering not buying a new head (they're currently in the que) due to these good inspection results.
This informaiton will be included in tomorrow's weekly update. (in a more formal manner)
