WITHDRAWAL OF REQUEST FOR LICENSE AMENDMENT LCR S01-04 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 3.6.2.3, CONTAINMENT COOLING SYSTEM SALEM GENERATING STATION, UNIT NOS. I AND 2 FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE DPR-70 AND DPR-75 DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 By letter dated August 17, 2001, PSEG Nuclear LLC (PSEG) proposed to revise the minimum required service water flow to the containment fan coil units in Section 3.6.2.3 of the Salem Generating Station Unit Nos. 1 and 2 Technical Specifications. PSEG hereby withdraws the August 17, 2001 request based on subsequent heat exchanger performance data and improvements to service water flow control. PSEG may resubmit the request if warranted by additional evaluation of system performance.
