SUBJECT:
APPROVAL OF THE TRANSFER OF FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE FOR SEABROOK STATION, UNIT NO. 1 (TAC NO. MB5097)
The purpose of this memorandum is to inform you that an Order will be issued to North Atlantic Energy Service Corporation (NAESCO) approving the direct transfer of the facility operating license to the extent held by NAESCO as the operator, and certain co-owners of the facility to FPL Energy Seabrook, LLC. The license transfer request, dated May 17, 2002, has been reviewed by NRR technical staff and OGC. Issuance of the Order is expected on or about October 25, 2002.
