FORTHCOMING MEETING WITH SOUTHERN NUCLEAR COMPANY DATE & TIME: Thursday, September 5, 2002 10:00 a.m - 12:00 noon LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room O-6B4 Rockville, Maryland, 20852 PURPOSE: Southern Nuclear Company (SNC) is in the process of designing an upgrade to replace the existing sequencer at the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant. This design modification will be implemented under 10 CFR 50.59, but SNC plans to make this presentation to keep the NRC staff informed.

CATEGORY:* This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
