The purpose of this letter is to withdraw generic relief request GISI-1.
TVA requested GISI-1 by letter dated September 14, 2001.
TVA hereby withdraws Request for Relief GISI-I.
TVA recognizes that the proposed rulemaking to incorporate by reference certain ASME Edition and Addenda (66 FR 40626) into 10 CFR Part 50 impacts NRC's review of GISI-I.
TVA may reconsider the subject proposal based upon the outcome of the final rule.
Note the subject TAC numbers also tracked review of recently approved Requests for Relief GISI-2 and GISPT-l.
