Purpose:

Regulatory Conference at Exelons request to discuss Exelons evaluation and any differences with the NRC evaluation of two preliminary findings of low to moderate safety significance (White) in the Emergency Preparedness cornerstone. One finding is associated with an inadequate critique of a February 14, 2002, emergency preparedness exercise. The second finding is associated with an untimely declaration by Exelon of an Alert emergency classification during an actual event that occurred on June 2, 2002. The findings do not present an immediate safety concern. These preliminary White findings are documented in NRC Inspection Report 50-277/02-07, 50-278/02-07 (ADAMS Ascension Number ML022000347).
