By this letter, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is notified that Dr. John Ringle of Oregon State University has been appointed chairman of the Reactor Operations Committee effective July 1, 2002. This notification is required under Technical Specification 6.7.c.3 of license R-106, Docket No.20-243.

ORE(GON This change was made necessary because of my resignation as Chairman of the STATF.

Committee following my appointment as Interim Director of the Radiation Center UNIVERSITY

- the senior administrator for the reactor facility. Dr. Ringle has served as chair of the committee in the past, has been a licensed SRO on the facility, served in the capacity of reactor administrator for the OSTR and is currently the senior member 100 Radiation Center of the operations committee.
