ISSUANCE OF FINAL SIGNIFICANCE DETERMINATION AND NOTICE OF VIOLATION This is to inform the Commission that a WHITE Significance Determination Process (SDP) finding and associated Notice of Violation will be issued on or around July 31, 2002, to Entergy Operations, Inc., as a result of inspections at the River Bend Station. This WHITE finding, an issue with low to moderate importance to safety, which may require additional NRC inspections, involved a failure to meet planning standard §50.47(b)(7) in that between 1985 and January 2002, the licensee did not provide emergency preparedness information to the public using the River Bend Station owner controlled area. This failure was identified as a violation of 10 CFR 50.54(q) and emergency planning standard 10 CFR 50.47(b)(7).
It should be noted that the licensee has not been specifically informed of this action. The schedule of issuance and notification are:
