Limerick Generating Station Physical Security Plan, Revision 17 and Plant Security Personnel Training and Qualification Plan, Revision 7 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), "Conditions of licenses," we are submitting changes to the Exelon Generation Company, LLC, Limerick Generating Station Physical Security Plan and Plant Security Personnel Training and Qualification Plan. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(4),
"Security plan and related submittals," attached are the original and three (3) copies of revision 17 to the Station Physical Security Plan and revision 7 to the Plant Security Personnel Training and Qualification Plan.
Revision 17 to the Station Physical Security Plan includes the following change.
The Security Plan has been revised to allow the use of alternate, NRC approved, methods for obtaining information pertaining to military records.
Revision 7 to the Plant Security Personnel Training and Qualification Plan includes the following change.
The removal of specific language regarding employment suitability and background investigations. This change was necessary to eliminate any and all conflicts with revision 17 of the Station Physical Security Plan. Because Section 1.6. of the Station Physical Security Plan already establishes the requirements for employment suitability and background investigations, a reference was added to the Plant Security Personnel Training and Qualification Plan.
As required by 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), we have concluded that these changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the Limerick Generating Station Physical Security Plan or the Plant Security Personnel Training and Qualification Plan.

July 3, 2002 Page 2 The changes to the Limerick Generating Station Physical Security Plan and the Plant Security Personnel Training and Qualification Plan were implemented on May 21, 2002. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), these changes shall be reported within 60 days of implementation i.e.,
July 20, 2002.
Attachments 3 and 4 contain Safeguards Information that must be protected from public disclosure as required by 10 CFR 73.21, " Requirements for the protection of safeguards information."
