VERMONT YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER STATION - NONDISCLOSURE AGREEMENT AND NRC SAFETY EVALUATION DATED MAY 17, 2002 (TAC NO. MB5459)
Dear Ms. Hofmann:
By letter dated May 31, 2002, the State of Vermonts Department of Public Service provided a signed copy of the Nondisclosure Agreement between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Vermont Department of Public Service. This agreement was worked out through yourself and the NRC Office of the General Counsel. The Vermont Department of Public Service had requested a copy of the proprietary version of the NRC staffs safety evaluation, dated May 17, 2002, supporting the Order Approving the Transfer of License and Conforming Amendment (May 17, 2002) for Docket No. 50-271 regarding the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station. Execution of the Nondisclosure Agreement was necessary before the NRC could release the subject safety evaluation. Enclosed, please find the requested proprietary document.
